Our Commitment to Accessibility

Sunrise Lake Family Campground is committed to ensuring our facilities, services, and website are accessible to all guests, including those with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone who visits our campground, and we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our premises and digital platforms.

Website Accessibility

We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website at sunriselakefamilycampground.com, and in doing so, we adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, and we are committed to ongoing improvements.

On-Site Accessibility

Our campground features accessible restroom and shower facilities designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs. Accessible parking is available near key facilities. Our staff is available to assist with any reasonable accommodation requests to help ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Service Animals

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, service animals are welcome at Sunrise Lake Family Campground. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals are not required to wear a vest or other identifying marker. We do ask that service animals remain under the handler's control at all times and that you notify us at the time of booking so we can best accommodate you and your service animal.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and fall under our standard Pet Policy. Please refer to our Campground Rules for more information on our pet policies and fees.

Accessible Routes

We have designated accessible pathways to our main facilities, including the bathhouse, beach area, and pavilion. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to be placed on a site with easier access to these routes, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Requesting Accommodations

If you have specific accessibility needs or would like to request a reasonable accommodation, please contact us prior to your arrival so we can discuss how we can best serve you. We welcome your feedback and suggestions for improving accessibility at our campground.

You can reach us by phone at (231) 515-9626, by email at contact@sunriselakefamilycampground.com, or by mail at 15230 KS Spencer Rd, Leroy, MI 49655.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Sunrise Lake Family Campground. If you encountered any accessibility barriers during your visit or while using our website, please let us know. We value your input and are committed to making continuous improvements.
